Default GS450h problems with rear brake/cardan/hub

Dear members,

while doing maintenance on the lexus (200.000 km) we noticed the rear break pads needed replacement. Removing the pads was easy however we noted that the caliper was hanging ... with further investigation we notice that 1 of the hub bolt holes was broken off !!! so we removed everything bought a revision set for the caliper and I found a recycled wheelhub in Holland (only 3 hours drive ... for like 75 euro) at the dealership it was nearly 700 so not going to do that. until there the happy! We also notice that the protection of the driveshaft was leaking grease so I wanted to replace them ... seems like a normal thing they get worn after 200.000 km ... 1041 euro excl vat as the full drivechaft needs to be replaced? Is this correct ???

So already a small update

GS300 axle does not fit gs450h if it is a European gs300 ... bummer ... the good news is that they are identical to the Lexus IS250 and IS220d ... the diesels we have a lot here so finding a spare part for them should not be to hard.
