One day my radio has just decided not to recognize my AV cord where I play my music using my phone. I found it odd that it happened suddenly. Has this happened to anyone? I tried a soft reset by disconnecting the battery and that didn't work. What else can I do or must I go to the shop?

I have the same thing happen to me, I believe it maybe to due the reason that I always leave the aux cable plugged in and the inside metal just became worn out. I have searched online and you can buy the aux center console plug. I never got a chance to replace mine, but you can pull out the adapter just by pulling on it. Not sure if it will pull out far enough to undo the power cord. So you may have to take off the console
