Tired of patching my muffler so decided to get a new set instead, looked through a few brands and searched on youtube but sounded too loud like race car type, anyone know of a muffler model/make that is simliar to oem? doesn't have to be exact but the lower the noise the better for me. thanks . It's for 06 GS300 AWD btw.

As long as you keep the resonators on, most mufflers will sound pretty mellow for the most part. I had a Manzo axle back setup on my car for a couple hours before I decided to take it off (quality was too crappy). Anyways, I left the resonators on and it was barely louder than stock. Now, if you want the stock sound, but a bit of a different look, I'd suggest just hitting the scrap yard for stock mufflers and throwing some S2000 tips on. Really depends on what you're looking to spend too.

a couple clips for you...Tanabe touring medallion in car. It is a gs450h but the same part number.

I find it to be nice and quiet and never annoying.

That's a pretty nice sound! not too loud like a race car, wow, all this time I thought the Tanabe ones were loud lol. Just searched it up, its around 1K for the full system in Canada. Well if I cant find any universal mufflers the generic brands then I guess I'll have to settle for that.
