Has anyone encountered this ? I have an issue when i go to start the car after it sits for as little as 30 min.The brake pedal is stiff and its hard to start since you have to depress the brake pedal prior to starting the car .

check the hose and check valve from the back of the engine to the brake booster. If you pull the hose out from the booster you should hear air escaping if not the check valve is bad

If you constantly press it while its off it'll do that.... other than that I never had that problem... But my sometimes I feel like my brakes vary sometimes.... Probably the weather or brake fade for mines....

Have the same problem, left my car at the Lexus dealer for a few days and they state they were unable to duplicate the problem but its still there
