Default Before and after PICS 2007 GS 18% tint. What do you think??

I got my windows tinted yesterday 18% all around. I went in thinking I was going to do 28% but changed my mind last minute. What do you guys think? I am not sure sometimes it looks great but it also can look pretty dark and am worried it took away from the classiness of the car. I was planning on putting some different wheels on but now with dark window not sure. Maybe just some factory 18's.?

Nicely done. That's the first thing I have done when getting a new ride.

No I didn't measure what it came out as but I heard the same thing bc of the factory tint in the window. When I went in I saw a car with 28 and was surprised at how light it looked. They told me with my tan interior mine would look even lighter so I went 18%. The pics look pretty dark but from some angles you can still see in. Ill post a couple more pics in a bit.

noob question... In NY state DMV it says your window must allow 70% of light into your window does that mean you can only tint up to 70%? (lower percent is darker right?) My friend said he has 30% tint but he only got pulled over once since its not that dark but still got a ticket cause the factory tint affected the tint checker with 20% (WRX)

Yup lower percentage is darker. Since you got 18% you have the potential to be pulled over at anytime now. That's the risk you take when you tint it that dark. If I were you I would roll down windows when nearby a cop to play it safe. Majority of people tint it darker than what is legal so it's really up to the cop and how badly he wants to give you a ticket.

Now do your front windshield in 70% crystalline tint and you are set.

I have 20% all around with 70% crystalline on the whole front.

This is a pic of 20% with 70% crystalline (tan interior). I got the front done more for heat rejection than making it look darker

Looks good. I have 18% all around (not windshield, of course), but I have a light colored interior (beige?.....not sure the 'official' color name :P ).

I also got an 85% windshield UV 'barrier' or whatever, but wish I would have gotten the dark strip at the top of the windshield instead. That might have helped a little with the privacy and with the 'sun in my face' driving.

I have no problem seeing clearly into the car during the day. I don't think they're very dark at all.
