Can't change key battery (different key?)
 

Hi,
I saw lots of tutorials here on how to change the battery for the key fob but when I open up my key I don't have that slot where I can split the key open. Here is how mine looks: http://s30.postimg.org/dt2c0z9wx/key.jpg

I tried opening it with force but it seems the plastic is going to break off than anything else. It seems welded shut. I've had someone open it up a few years back but it's a long drive so that's not an option.

Any ideas? Is my key different? 07 GS 450h from Europe.

Unless the 2 halves are glued together, pulling it apart wont break the plastic. Pull harder.
