Just installed Sage 25mm RCA blocks on 08 AWD
I've been snooping around on these forums forever now and finally made an account!
Just bought the car 2 weeks ago and decided to go with a 20 inch staggered setup. I emailed Peter about the 25mm RCA's and just received them Monday. Thanks Peter! Anyways here's my car!

Few Very Curious Q's:
Any ride difference?
Why did you go this route over springs/coilovers?
Can you expect same issues from lowering (camber, axle issues, rubbing)?

The ride quality is less floatier feeling. I can definitely feel the road more now, but other than that it feels pretty much the same. I went with rca's because I feared the vibration everyone was talking about after lowering their cars on springs or coils. It was definitely the look I was looking for. The front sat higher by an inch, I wanted it a tad lower than the rear. As for rubbing, I do get slight rubbing turning the wheel fully while doing u turns or backing out of driveways. It's only the plastic lining though..nothing a heat gun won't fix. 20x8.5 35 offset in the front btw.

car looks great on the RCA blocks.
any lower you may get vibrations... RCA blocks still change the angles of the axles. its a hit or miss with front RCA blocks as to whether you get vibrations or not. its just less likely you would get vibrations.
and on a side note it will not change the amount of travel/dampening of the shocks meaning you will still have the same amount of lean around a corner. so i don't suggest hooking your car around corners unless you want your fenders pulled in lol

Looks good. Question, what size tires are you running? I have a set of 20's, +35 offset on the front and back. Front tires are 225 35 and rears are 255 30. But the tires are not sitting flush sight the side of the wheels. But also, did you have any issues installing the front and rear RCA's? I purchased the front but was unable to get the part off once I took the two screws off to put them on.
Thanks in advance
