Good morning,
My 07 gs430 has been fine until a few days ago when the nav display went out. I pressed a few buttons hoping that it would possibly come back on, but no luck. A few minutes later the temperature on the upper right of the bezel went out and the clock jumped to a new/wrong time and it too went out just a few minutes later while the radio was still playing. Next, none of the buttons do what they are supposed to and the lights for them went out a day or so later. All was well with the radio except now the radio lights aren't on (but it still works)

Could this possibly be a fuse? I figured the whole unit would be out if so but its worth asking. I know the radio and nav aren't on the same harness so I'm a bit confused as to how I may have lost lighting to the radio as well.

Any thoughts, advice, similar stories/resulting repairs are all appreciated.

Have you tried a battery reset? Disconnect your battery terminals for about a half hr to an hr, come back and reconnect and see if that helps.
