Some of you guys will love me to come this forum and post the next pics... When i started without information dissasembling the car, i was so scaried.

Just to say, even im spanish and im in Spain, i want to share my "little" knowledge with you and ill happy if anyone do this DIY with blue leds i have curiosity of see all the car with blue leds.

Most of leds are 1206 ( i think ), but in most of cases i used PLCC-2, greater and much much much brigther, thats is oen reason of the more light output, but you can purchase 1206 with high luminosity.

Enjoy:

speedometer-back

My old car,BMW 330d E46 with all the LED's swapped to blue, thats thw why i tried change and added more red in the Lexus....

Up radio panel - back

Down radio, here is very hard solder PLCC-2, better use 1206

door

Cant swap the interior LED's, added a red filter, ingenous right?

button panel

1st changed all to red, not happy with the result

air vent light

steering wheel

button - steering wheel

radio up with original leds

radio up with leds changed, PLCC-2

speedometer

2 months ago... i would pay to see that pic.......<br/>If you see, you can personalize EVERY light and every component in your speedometer.

Regards.

Nice, white would be a nice OEM look. Green is so ugly. Thanks for sharing.
