Repair Cost and Parts
Got my 2007 GS350awd inspected and it requires following repairs. Any ideas on estimate cost to fix them from local repair shops?
Here are dealers price:
Brake Flush $179
Drive Belt replacement ( Serpentine belt) $169
Rear Caliper brake replacement $761.40
Replace Rear Brake pads/Resurface Rotors $345
Debating whether to buy my own parts and have local repair shop do it? What is good on-line store for Lexus parts?
Car only have 35k yes I only drives on weekends.

ok I edit that its the serpentine belt that needs replacement. They told me rear brake caliper is not working right and needs to be replacement. Basically looks like my rear braking system has to be replace.

Brake flush should be included when changing brakes but if you DIY 20 dollars
drive belt DIY maybe 45 bucks and 10 minutes work
Genuine lexus brake caliper 211.00 diy one hour work per caliper
Akebono brake pads maybe 50 (these are who makes lexus oem)
Rotors maybe 40 each use centric rotors
Rockauto for pads and rotors
If you don't want to do it yourself all this should be less than 300 labor at a good shop we are talking less than 3 hours of work. Probably less than 2 hours work
So with parts and labor less than 650 total but I would do it myself.
