Just bought this car and if I approach the driver door and reach in the handle the car beeps twice and unlocks just the driver door. Which is correct as far as I know.
When I approach any of the passenger doors and reach in the door handle to unlock the door, the car beeps 8 times and you hear the door lock actuators repeatedly trying to unlock even though it unlocked after the first two beeps. Only happens from any of the front or rear passenger doors.

Goes something like this.
Beep beep click, beep beep click beep beep click beep beep click and then it stops.. The click is the door lock actuater unlocking. Lol

I would appreciate any help on this issue. Thanks

If you just bought it you need to take it back to where you got it from. If the battery is weak it can cause all types of issues with this car....start there...

I started seeing this symptom with my 2007GS350AWD last week.
Sometimes it beeped a couple times when I unlocked from the left rear passing door.
Sometimes It beeped several times.

Today I noticed the front passenger door was locked while other 3 doors were unlocked.
I tried to unlock the door by its handle or driver door handle and still no avail. Locked then unlocked all the doors and the door still not unlocked.
So I ended up unlock the door from the inside using its latch. After that, locking and unlocking the front passenger door by the handle or key fob work again.

So my theory is hearing more than 2 beeps when you open the doors using passenger doors' handle means one of the passenger doors is still locked and the car attempts to unlock it again.
I will confirm my theory if it hear several beeps again.
