Changing dash lights from green to white?

Has anyone modded their 3GS dash lights from green to white LEDs?

i would really like to change the green lighting on the dash to white leds and would like some input on how to do so. along with what bulbs or LEDs to go with.

Please don't mess with the dash lights. It looks so nice as it is

I got used to it, and it is very easy on the eyes I think that was the main focus from lexus.

That would be pretty cool to see but probably a PITA to do

I'd love to convert mine as well, but I never will since it'd be a pain to do.

There was a member here that did crazy LED conversions on any part you wanted, I can't remember his name and I am trying to find the old thread but having a hard time. Ill report back if I find it but I am sure its possible!

Heres one link, not exactly what I was thinking of: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-07-gs350.html

i was considering doing the same thing at one point until i found out how much work is needed to put into it. soldering everything would freak me out considering how expensive the console is.

thanks for the input guys.

yeah soldering is not a problem along with the amount of time and work for me. i was just curious to see what it would look like and if anyone has done it an easier way.

thanks for the link. in my opinion i think those are a little too bright and i might use a less luminescent LED.
