Post 2006 Lexus GS

Thinking about buying this car for $13.5k

For sale back up camera, navigation, all the sound system value on almost 5000 dollars -body paint must be perfect under it..always been wrapped on white .. brand new engine by dealer - , A/C ice cold, All scheduled maintenance, All records, Always garaged, Custom paint/graphics, Custom wheels, Excellent condition, Factory GPS system, Fully loaded with all the goodies, Looks & drives great, Mostly highway miles, Must see, Never seen snow, No accidents, Non-smoker, One owner, Perfect first car, Satellite radio, Seats like new, Title in hand, Upgraded sound system, Very clean interior, Well maintained..275,000 miles on body, while less than 20,000 on the new installed engine ..

Checked with lexus...he got the pistons and rings replaced...thinking about purchasing it on Dec 26, 2012

Good buy?

So its not a new motor then? Sounds find of fishy. Second line says new motor, then your last line says you checked with lexus and the pistons and rings were replaced.

What type of sound system? Did he upgrade the speakers? subs? amps? In the post it says factory gps so it must not have an upgraded head unit.

Also that's a lot of miles on the car for that price. Pictures would help everyone as well.

I'd stay away also. for a few thousand more you can get an 07 GS350 which is much better in my opinion.

The 350 motor has more power, more reliable (gs300 has carbon buildup issues) and you get the updated navigation system.

Better yet a 430 a proven bullet proof engine.

275k on chasis that car is worth 7k tops
My friend just bought a 2007 Gs350 with 86k miles for 11,500

Not a good deal. Keep searching. And don't buy a 300 there is a reason they are cheaper

275,000 miles... hooooly. Mine only has 70 right now. I paid something like 27,000 CAD for it like 6 years ago.

Wow, that is one ugly car!! Besides the looks, I would say you can get a better deal with lower miles... My two cents!!
