Default Fender mods?...

Still a 2gs'er but contemplating a 450h. 2 questions:
First, what fender mods would it take to fit 19x9.5 +12 & 10.5 +9 on 225/245/35 tires??
Lastly, how soon does this hybrid battery need to be replaced/costs??

Thanks in advance for all your help and input. Looking forward to possibly becoming a 3 gs'er in the near future soon.

In the meantime, here's a few pix of my current ride. This is my second 2gs...
Don't get me wrong, I love it like crazy but having more HP, MPG, and Features in a newer body is sooo enticing.

Hit up the 3GS wheel thread link below, the 100 pages (especially the last 20 pages) should give you an ideal situation on where youre at with your +12 offset, there's a few 3gs owners that I pm'd regarding on +22 fitment (VDMTom & YogiFTLC to name a few). I know for a fact that w/ +22 offset, you need to relocate fender tabs and shave the rear, so w/ +12... i'm sure you need camber arms as I hope some owners here will pitch in and add some info as we go along. I'm all over the 2is forum as well on their 300 pages of wheel thread to get some general idea on fitment.

I used to be a member on my350z.com as I loved my g35 cpe lowered & shaved for fitment. I was once in your shoes as well, i wanted to pick up a 2gs and throw on a 3gs front end from vertex but thought that was an expensive route so I saved up a lil bit more for the 3gs. Goodluck and sexy 2gs btw.

I'll certainly look into that. Thanks for the info and I appreciate the compliment!

If the fender work is going to go beyond just a shave/roll and slight pull than I might have to reconsider just bc I don't want to go all out and do too much on the fenders.

look Nice!

with the way your car sit, in the 3GS AWD, you will get lots of wobble. I'm about of get rid of my 3GS AWD just because of the wobble after lower.

Your fronts should clear with a roll. Rear are going to need a pull or camber/toe arms.
im running 19x11 +25 square right now. Fronts rub on turns but very minimal. Rears fit with just a shave. Next set up on going with is 19x10 +14 and 19x10.5 +14 with -5 or -6 camber in the rear

And trust me, the jump from 2gs to 3gs is worth it. owned 2 2gs's in the last 4 years. bought a 3gs a couple months ago, love it.

With your current +25 offset in the rear, do you have camber arms installed? Or just natural camber from your lowered suspension? Care to share rear tire size? Lol, just wanna have an idea, currently attempting 19x10.5 +22 with 255/35/19 Toyo T1Rs. (sorry to thread jack smooth... lol)
