Default Tire size question on 08 GS350 AWD

I have to purchase new tires soon for my current GS. My tire size is 225/50R17, my last GS had
245/40ZR18 tires and they performed much better with the slightly bigger wheels and tires. I want to know what other size options I may have for my standard 17in wheels. I would like to go alittle wider with a lower profile. i.e 245/45R17 something along those lines.

I'm not an expert, but I think a 245 might be the max you can put on stock wheels (7.5" width). A 235 would fit nicely.

There's some tire calculators floating around on tire rack and places like that, I'd check those to see how that tire computes with our stock wheel size.

You can use a 225/50/17, a 235/50/17 or a 245/45/17 on a factory wheel.
