After scanning the GS i found it to have code P0158 related to my O2 sensor (Bank1-Sensor2) I guess I'm about due to change one of those things.
i just got this issue as well on monday... i had check engine light and went to autozone which showed 3 out of 4 sensors were faulty. So decided to get all fourO2 sensors from rockauto.com
unfortunately the O2 sensor attached to exhaust pipe could not be undone to to crack
got the exhaust pipe welded and before i could try to replace i get THIS ISSUE
do you think this issue occurred due to O2 sensor not being replaced??
Just an FYI, I got this same Check VSC light again today at 87K. Car did sit for 6-8 weeks. I topped up my brakes fluid, open an resealed my gas cap and the light went away after starting the car. I will monitor this situation once I take it back out on the road.

Just in case, I opened and closed the Fuel Tank Cap and made sure is feels like it works, as in it does lock even with 1 lock-noise and if I try to open it you need to unscrew it a few times before it opens, it doesn't just come off
Any updated on this issue with Lexus? Did they recognise it as a software fault to repair at their expenses (one can hope) - Well in the case of a software fault, because it could be due to other wear and tear issues which would of course be just tough I guess

Hi, in my case Lexsus said the actual sensor had a fault, so they reset it and the warning lights went out. They said if they keep coming up I will need to change the Sensor.
They said the actual warning lights on the dashboard are generic for something like over 40 (or a bigger number can't remember) possible things that could be wrong with the car... but in my case was the actual sensor.
Since then the warning lights came up again one day.... then went off again the day after... after a few days the came up again and went out again the day after...During the first 10 days of having it reset...
Since then, so far, no warning lights, finger crossed they stay shut
my vsc and cel came on last week, end up replacing a new ecm and 2 o2 sensors
I know this thread is old but I was curious how much it cost you to replace the ecm? I think I may have to replace my ecm as well in my 07 GS350 . i have an appt for the vvt recall in a few days. I just bought the car off someone privately. Apparently he never had it brought in for the recalls. I drove it home over an hour no problem it runs great. the other day the check engine light came on and the vsc. I had it scanned at auto zone it read P0606 ecm processor fault. I looked into it and it kinda scares me i paid a lot of money for this car and cant be putting more into it. I know how much lexus charges.
i replaced my wheel hub, cause i heard noises. then i am guessing it is a sensor for the speed on the wheel, hypothetically speaking.. when i did my breaks i did a break flush and tranny flush and oil change and spark plugs. then i bought some aftermarket wheels thinking it would change, had a tire that was loosing air and i’d get notified when tire is low, so sensors seems to be working but not the one i am having an issue with. and for the reason i bought a other set. i do have high mileage about 219k still running strong, but i am planning to rebuild this car into a VIP.. so i want every issue resolved. and that’s the only thing i am having. besides earlier today i had a afs issue. but all my sensors i have checked for the asf seems like there’s no issue.. so i am trying to figure out how i can resolve this it comes on when i am hitting a corner hard and my car tries to grab traction and slows down dramatically… but then that doesn’t sometimes turn this problem on. idk haha
