I'm new to this forum but need some advise on tires. I have a 2006 GS300 with 120K miles. It is time for new tires and I'm wanting to get them from somewhere less expensive than Lexus. I replaced them once before but it was through the Lexus dealership and about $1K for all 4 with rotation and balance. Has anyone purchased any tires from any places like Goodyear, Big10, etc.? Not sure if that is the route I want to go but just want to see what others have done in the past. Also, not sure what kind of tires I will be purchasing so if anyone has any suggestions feel free to give them to me.

 

I suggest Nitto 555's. Running them on wife's GS350. Running Michelin Primacy MXV4's on the GS300.

 

I always go to Discount Tire. They will price match anyone plus you can haggle them to get price down and use military discount if applicable, plus any rebates that are available. I decline road hazard certificates because they offer free prorated road hazard on all tires based on the tire tread.

 

Hey guys I have a question

I recently bought 20" inch rims for my Lexus gs 450h
The offsets are 43+ front and 8,5 and 38+ and 9,5 rear
I want to make sure based on these number that I'm going to buy the correct tire sizes.
A local tyre store advises me that the correct tire sizes for the specific rims and car would be front 245/30/20 and 275/30/20.
I'm Am afraid that the rear will rub and I need to go for a 275/25/20.

Any advice? Suggestion ?
