Default Finally I'm BACK in the Lexus family. 2006 GS 300 awd

My first Lexus was a 2001 Gs 300 ( I sold it with 175,000 ) my second Lexus was a. 2002 ES 300 ( I sold that with 165,000 miles ) in 2010 I was looking for a. 2006 GS 300 but they were out of my price range. So I picked up a 2006 Infiniti m35x. Great car a lot of power and I just sold that last week with 150,000 miles on it. OK now I finally haven't dream car which is this 2006 GS 300 awd. It has 151,000 miles on it. I. Seen the maintance on the car fax and it looks like its due. Where should I start with this car service wise?? I miss being on the family and happy to be back. I never been afraid of high mileage and I drive a lot. I just want to get this car running nice. Please help

check to make sure all the recalls were done. other than that since its out of warranty, you can check to see if the tsb's have been done. see if the plugs were changed, maybe even timing chain (though it shouldnt be needed) then just do a typical tune up. flush all the fluids, check brakes, etc..

If you bought the car then does the dealer have the records of most of the services. If you did purchase from a dealer than make them pay for all of that if they are trying to sell a car then they should have those done. I would def change the oil, peace of mind, get the spark plugs checked. Better yet look at this thread it should have some answers you want.https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...s-of-pics.html

Thanks! I see the recall a lot of 2006 owners are speaking of and I called corporate. They told me that's mine didn't fall under that recall with the mis fire. I wonder if they jut don't want to do it? Is there anyway else I could check?
