Dashboard Reflection on windshield
Have had my '07 GS350 since OCT 2012. Pretty much adjusted to it.
However, on bright sunny days in the winter (Atlanta), at certain sun angles the textured black dashboard reflection on the windshield is very distracting and borderline hazardous.
Anybody dealt with this with methods other than squinting?
Is there anything besides a matte finished fabric dash cover?
Appreciate the advice.

word. I've noticed the same prob in my 460....
Certain times of the day I can barley see out the wind shield. No products have ever been applied to dash as far as I know.
solution?

RE: Armour All or similar product. Perhaps the previous owner used the product but i doubt it. You won't find the stuff in my garage or house. Also, there is no "Armour All breath stain" near the bottom of the windshield. The dash has a bit of gloss finish but there is no residue on the surface.
It is a bit of a relief to hear that others are bothered by it. IMO the sloped windshield is a big contributing factor. My E39 had a steep windshield angle that by design wouldn't encounter this problem.
Is there a 3rd party vendor that sells a custom dash cloth?

I've been driving my car out of town 2 weekends in a row and I have the same problem. I never use anything on my dash except for the rag & water. It's definitely due to the angle of the windshield, dash and dash finish. It's excessively glossy even without armor all.
I went ahead and ordered a Coverking Suede Dash Cover and I should be receiving it soon.

^ tinting the front windshield is illegal and I definitely wouldn't do that cause I do drive at night.
No tint anywhere else but that wouldn't make any different to this reflection on the front windshield.

I don't even know if it's legal in ANY state to tint the windshields and it sounds dangerous. Also there's 2 state stickers that we have to attach to the windshield here, so good luck using a razor blade to scrape them off every year
