Regardless of the check engine light being on or not, this problem is related to the recent GS300 service campaign released in August, and if a consumer comes in with complaints similar to Henry's, the dealer should run their own tests to validate the misfire being there or not.

lol at some of these replies, the CEL does not have to be illuminated for the dealer to perform a recall. What the dealer will not do is perform work with out pulling a code from the cars ECU. Again the light does not have to be on for codes to be pulled.
Ill suggest again that you go back and have someone scan for any stored or pending codes in your ECU. It takes them all of 5 min to plug in and check.
