Default Ac is leaking water on to passenger floor

I noticed my carpet was wet on my 06 Gs430. The water is not draining out of the vent from under the car and seems to be draining into the car. Does anyone know how to fix this or what could be causing it? The line under the car is not clogged in anyway

Not AC, but sunroof drain blocked probably.
There was a thread about this not long ago - have a bit of a search and you'll find it.

Yes it was my thread, the mystery is still out how my carpets ended up bein wet, i checked sunroof drain and turned ac on and noticed water coming out under my car. I been keeping a close eye on it and its dry now. Probably spilled water and never noticed as i tend to put water bottles in the back carpet area. To the op i suggest turning the ac on and let it run for 5 mins, and check to see if there is a puddle under your car, then get some blue windshield wiper fluid and pour it around your sunroof there is designated holes to where it drain. Once poured check under your car to make sure the water is coming out. If everything is good then its just a coincidence.

Its definitely the AC. The water is coming down from the firewall. I ran a hose down the whole windshield and saw no sign of any water leaking. There is also no water coming from the drain under the car. Hoping someone might know. I'm going to have no choice but to take it to the dealer. A lot of water is getting into the car

Sometimes you can use a shop-vac to unclog the line if you can get the car up high enough to get to it.

the A/C drain hose is probably clogged. Easy way to fix it is to take some compressed air and aim it into the hose at the bottom of the car. Some debris should come out and clogged weater should come out too.
Or if you want, peel the carpet back a little bit and disconnect the hose (it's on the side of the center console) and clean it out that way.

Yes. In my experience this is always an AC drain line problem. Don't know the fix, though.

I think there was a TSB a while back for all pre-09 models with clogged a/c problems. I don't know if it's covered under extended warranty though (since your car is a '06).

I had already tried a low amount of compressed air and it didnt seem clogged. Maybe it got disconnected? I'm going to pull the side panel from the center console tonight and check to see if i can find the hose. Thanks for the tips guys

The hose is located on top of the transmission, to get to it you will need to lower the transmission. The tsb said to lower transmission and take out a cap and make sure that the spungy thing is not blocking the hole. Do not go to the dealer they will rape you.

I will have to get a service manual to see what is involved with dropping the transmission. Doesnt sound fun

I'm taking the day off tomorrow to do it. Yes it's a pita but the dealer would charge a fortune the tsb posted shows how it's done but it will take some pics also if that will help other people
