Smile Cheap D4S?????

So im in need of some new bulbs for my 2006 Lexus GS430, and have been navigating the web/ebay/club lexus seeing what kind I should get, The issue......What is the differnce on these cheap ebay D4S bulbs that are 40$ a pair and the $100++++++ ones, is is the color? how long they will last? Pretty confused. And would like to see better pics of the difference in 4300k, 5000k and 6000k, just want a nice color that wont make my car look ricey...

Thanks guys

You get what you pay for. All situations in life. I thought it couldn't be just bulbs but yup it was - had Garax for almost a year now and they never flickered or turned off. Suck it up and go with Garax I paid 90$

Xenon Depot. You'll probably get a discount being a CL member.

I have D4S 6k's from them. No problems at all. Actually I got my running lights, yellow fogs, side lights from them.

I recently install 6k Garax and they are great. I didn't have issues with my stock bulbs, just wanted a different color.

Just saw this so I apologize for the delayed response. For what it's worth, be very careful when it comes to purchase aftermarket D4S bulbs. The market is flooded with low cost bulbs that simply do not function properly. THey end up flickering and burning out very prematurely.

Clearly i'm biased towards the XenonDepot D4S HID bulbs but I know the quality is there. ClubLexus members get a $20 discount per bulb by using coupon code CLGB08. The bulbs are available in 5000k, 6000k, and 8000k. We also carry OEM 4300k Philips D4S bulbs and Philips 6000k Ultinon D4S bulbs.

I purchased the HID Volt kit in 6k for my fogs and love it. Very easy install and seems good quality. I just ordered the 5k D4S for my low beams and went with superbrightleds bulb for my parking lights. Once i get all of them installed i will post some pics

Sounds good! Please do post up some pics of the 5000k D4S. You will not see a huge difference with 5k compared to 4k (as expected) but they will definitely look a little crisper then your stock bulbs.

I'm running a 5k kit on my Nsx and it's a nice light. The 6500k bulb you sell would be way too blue for me

ahh the famous debate between cheap and expensive HID's and quality.

i might just been one of the super lucky ones but when i was running DDM hids BACK THEN (both low and fogs)

never had a problem with them flickering or going bad, they had lifetime warranty too.

1sWt2GS: This thread is specifically about D4S bulbs (not HID kits). There is a difference.
