Default Wheel Guru's

Got a question about some wheels that I am looking to refinish. The following specs are:

20x9 +38
2 inch Lip

20x10.5 +45
3 inch Lip

What I want to know is if I can machine a few mm off each wheel, thus lowering the offsets so that I can run a 4 in rear lip and possibly a 2.5inch front lip?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and stay tuned for pics in the upcoming months

You can but you better get the measurements right.

Theoretically, yes it can be done. Your best bet is to contact one of the companies that refinish wheels to make sure your face can be milled down that much.
