Got Die Hard Platinum for myself

Just put my new Die Hard Platinum battery in this morning guys. So far so good. Thru time I'll post my experience with the battery. Too early to tell weather it's that good & reliable or not. I'll post pics up later definitely.

Thanks bro.. so far I've felt a lil difference. Not much but enough to notice. Like last nude it was pretty cold when I left work around 3 am and the car started quicker then usual. Also, sometimes driving at night, I'd notice the dash a lil dimmer then usual. Now the lights are completely bright green!! :-) that's definitely a plus. I know my alternator is still in top shape. It was the old battery. It was a great battery. I went from 650 CCA to 850CCA. So far so good. I'll definitely keep everyone posted on the quality of this battery.

FYI, the dash brightness resets any time you disconnect the battery. You control the brightness from the up and down arrows in the left pop-out console (where you adjust the mirrors).

^ also the sunroof and auto window get reset. They are easily set back. Just press on the button to cycle them and they stop when it's done and of course work normal again.

Lol yes I know that bro. That round little **** that controls how bright are dim all the lights are on the dash.... I know this lol. But I always have it on brightest. Everyday and every night. But still sometimes the dash esp the speedometer seems a lil dimmer then usual. But so far it's been real bright. I think the battery has a little to do with that. But I hear you tho bro. I understand what your telling me.

I don't disagree with you there. At night your system is drained a lot harder than during the day, believe it or not.

I know this because my voltmeter dropes a few decimals (nothing too serious, but I'd imagine on a weaker battery it's more intense).

I think all in all I've given up my respect for Optima batteries now.... They are complete garbage now IMO.

I think I'm going XS power or Stinger next

I wanna know if anyone has ever tried the Li-Ion 12v battery replacements from Braille or other manufacturers? They cost a fortune, but they sound real cool...

Li-Ion batteries do not like heat, so you'll need to keep it in your cooled cabin brother.... It's got a ton more amperage power though

My06 GS 430 still has the original battery and I am going to change it this year just to be safe. I generally have very good luck and long life out of all batteries, but since the OEM one will give me 9 years of life here in Alberta with the high summer temps and very cold winters, I can see no reason not to use one of them again.

Well after posting this I talked to LExus and the replacement battery is not the same as the Factory Panasonic. Their replacment one is an Interstate (East End) group 24. Part number COPBS8424C. The dealer wants $165, the Toyota dealer wanted $180 for the Toyota version of the same battery. I am going to price one through Interstate dealer direct.
