get your local autoparts store, OR purchase a CEL-device and check it yourself, last i checked they only cost you 50-100$. This will probably save your butt forever too!

did you disco the battery for 45 min or more? if not try that as it wont clear the codes stores by just a quick disco. If they come back they you have an issue and need to pull the exact codes.

Any recent work done to the car or mods that we are not aware of?? details will be your best friend for us to help

it bites, but when it is fixed, you'll feel much better. My car's headed to the dealership in an hr or two because i'm soo dissatisfied with the suspension work they've just recently done

Ok bought a code reader and it gave me p2111- TAC stuck in open position. Which means throttle plate was stuck and couldn't move- Took it around, turns out a piece of rubber from somewhere was blocking the plate from moving... A few starts and back to normal. Thanks for replies n ideas.

throttle plate, as in the butterfly flap that opens and closes as you change throttle position (in the intake manifold). Honestly, I wonder what the heck kind of plastic/rubber could have gotten stuck in there... luckily it didn't fall straight into the engine, that would of been catastrophic!

Luckily behind the throttle plate theres a protective gate to catch/block things from flowing in... Ended up cleaning all the carbon build up on plate and MPG went on- atleast on screen

Well yeah, but the only way anything foreign could get stuck there is through the intake and past the air filter. So I would check the air box to make sure that everything is seated correctly because it sounds like it sucked in a piece of plastic from the road and it got past the air filter.
