Spark Plugs
Whats the best spark plugs to use on a 2006 lexus gs300 AWD. I read on another site that DENSO FK20HBR11 iridium where the oem ones that had to be used cause other model plugs where to short and burned too hot.

Use the same ones that the dealer uses if you are driving a stock car. You won't see any noticeable benefit from getting anything super fancy or expensive. Just make sure they are gapped correctly and that is it.

Its only going to cost me about 160$ for all i want to do..and im sure its not as hard as they say, its just going to take some time. Dealer ships always say its not easy so you dont do it your self

Use the OEM ones, the threads on them are at least twice as long as regular plugs. If you read the manual, it says somewhere that you should change them every 60K. It has to do with the Emissions warranty. Look at your maintenance books and look at page 53.
http://www.lexus.com/pdf/service/Sedans.pdf
read the fine print at the bottom saying:
" 2 Required under the terms of the Emission Control Warranty"
btw...your car won't have spark plug wires. Super Long Life coolant is good up till 100K before it needs to be changed. Trans service at 60K, highly recommend using Genuine WS ATF.

i retract my statement. you're right.
ES uses the same plugs, yet interval is 120,000.. got me confused..
manual says Denso FK20HBR11.. can you not find one by this? last place to look for might be a dealership..
inspection i presume? i thought we had a sealed transmission that fluid can't be changed..
