My wife told me she turned the car off,locked the doors,and when she walked away,the car made a beeping noise as if the car was running and you walk away from the car with the key in your pocket. She said it's happened more than once. Is that a sign the battery in the remote is getting weak?

Huh? the normal beeping sound when you lock all the doors, or when you close the door and the car is stll running and it begins to beep.

Try taking hte car to the dealer for a courtesy switch change. I got all 4 of my courtesy switches changed because I demanded it and it solved the problem temporarily. Now I get this issue with "key not detected". I'll be taking my car back this weekend again

Is it a long, constant beep? I have gotten that too when I lock the car and usually have to take the fob out of my pants and press the lock/ unlock key to make it stop. I assume the detection is getting weak? I would like to see if someone has gotten this too and what it could be.

My wife's 2022 NX350 is beeping every 30 seconds while it is off in the garage. Check doors, hood, trunk, all locked. restart, turn off, armed, beeping continues every 30 seconds, even while the car is running. check battery at 75%. Call dealership, says to take it in tomorrow.

Found it was the low battery warning alm in the garage door opener.
