Default Pix of LED reverse light
Fellow 3GS peeps,

Does anyone of pix or can honestly confirm a significant lighting disparity between OEM reverse light vs. aftermarket LED upgrade?

There is a difference, I dont have any pics at the moment but there is a difference between LED reverse lights and regular bulbs. I have the cree bulbs and those are a huge difference which has a huge light output and I would get these again any day.

It's def. a pretty substantial difference, pending the bulb wattage you use. Camera's don't always capture the best light, but check this thread should show you some good shots.

You can fit 194 bulbs/parking lights back there too. I use v-leds high output leds and the difference is night and day. My friend tells me might as well put headlights back there lol. They are very bright but not ignant.

There's quite a few options on the V-LED site with "921 bulb" search. Which bulb exactly do you recommend?

I got the same ones...6000k though...use 5000k as parking light.

The reason I didn't buy the cree one because the heat!

Those are the same one's I'm using. A little pricey at $50 for the pair, but you'll be happy and never have to change them.

Never heard this, I have never had a problem with them overheating.
