Yep, I get the best of both worlds I think. It's loud when I am on it, and still a Lexus when I need it to be.

Sorry buddy, this one is all custom work, but the good news is it's cheaper than buying anything pre-made.

It's really difficult to tell because some of that effect is due to the loudness, so the only way to know is to dyno it. But, if you want it to go faster, then a supercharger or turbo is really what you want to get.

If you're in Austin, then it'd be worth a drive for sure. This guy offers be both aluminum and stainless steel options. The aluminum is 1/2 the price, but does not come with a life time warranty. Since the cost is relatively inexpensive, I opted to with stainless steel to get the lifetime warranty.

By the way, his shop does custom tuning, as well as adding superchargers, and turbos. They are working on a GT500 that produces 700HP at the wheels. It looks stock from the outside, but man under the hood it's a different story.

I have more pix of the installation process if anyone wants to see. He has just sent them to me yesterday, so I just saw them for myself as well. Man his work is just incredible.

40MPH and just over 1000rpm? I think I just found a reason to ditch my 350 for a 460...

Very difficult to hear it from your youtube video, but your car sounds just like mine. And my setup was what you were going to go with before you changed.

Have a look

They kinda sound the same due the muffler I Guess. However after my new setup, car sounds totally different.. which may be attributed to different mufflers.

Hey Admed - yep I was going for a similar setup as your but when I found this custom shop that would build a true dual for the same price it was a no brainer. Since both Rider's and mine have a true dual I think it should provide a slightly better flow than the NVidia mid pipe. Have you checked out the sound clips on page #2? I have just finished a full tank of gas where I just drove it normally, and I got 26.1MPG, which is 1/2MPG better than I normally get before the mod...remember I kept asking you about performance, and fuel efficiency changes on your car pre, and post mod?

Yes, the muffler plays a huge part in regards to the tone of the sound. Removing the resonators just make it fuller than before. They wanted to swap out the mufflers too, but I insisted on keeping the Tanabe because I really like the tone they produce. Still waiting for your sound clip Rider...

im looking into doing this with my gs430 but i want to put these small resonators before the x-pipe so my car wouldnt have as loud of a sound but it would still be agressive. what u guys think

heres the link of the resonators http://www.andysautosport.com/chevro...a00000039.html
