Default aftermarket exhaust suggestions

Looking to purchase exhaust for my 2006 GS430, but I'm debating between the tanabe medalion touring exhaust and the hks hi-power dual exhaust. Anyone have input of these exhaust or suggestions on other brands? It would be greatly appreciated, cheers!

ps: before anyone says do your h.w and research yourself, I already have. I just want to know everyones opinions.

Tanabe Medalion Exhaust all the way. The tips look a lot more classy and the sound is not obnoxious compared to the Hi-power. My 2 cents.

What mods are required to fit the Tanabe Medallion exhaust on a AWD GS300?
Someone with the experience please answer!

Should just bolt on, another suggestion is the M2 exhaust havent had a problem. aside from my MPG dropping.

Sucks that the car doesnt have true dual exhaust system.
Wonder if anyone fabricated one. I am sure it can be done. x-pipe and Borla mufflers would sound killer.

I have the Tanabe Medalion system with the OEM resonator removed. IMO, it sounds much better with the resonator removed.

M K S -

With the resonator removed and the Tanabe exhaust do you get any type of drone in the cabin? i have stock mufflers on my GS430 with resonator removed and the drone is quite loud in the cabin at around 2000k rpm. i was thinking of just having a true dual exhaust put on but if the Tanabe would get rid of the drone i'd go that way?

Do you have any sound clips? I would like to get more sound without drone as it is my daily driver.

To be honest, I don't notice much drone at all. The car really isn't all that loud inside the cabin. I didn't care for the sound of the Tanabe exhaust by itself as I felt it was hardly audible. Once the resonator was removed, it gave it just the right sound I was looking for.

I don't have any sound clips right now. I was asked by several members if I could produce a one, so I'll try to do that next week.

I actually wanna kno if anyone knows how to get an isf sound on an 07 gs350... I went to lexus lf orlando and they quoted me about 2000.. for the exgaust system and intake... Dont wNna spend anywhere near that type of money...i just want a more aggressive/deeper sound outside but not loud in the cabin... So i went to a local muffler shop and they told me that i can get a deeper sound changi.g the muffler but to check other gs' that have done it to see what brand i should go with... Has anyone made this mod?? If so any suggestions? Im really hesitant with modding any engine work, i stick with just the cosmetic, but i really want a deeper sound...

Please help! Thanks

I have the Tanabe exhaust and love the sound. Here is a sound clip I took when I first had it installed.
