I was looking for locations to mount my audio system stuff and this seemed to be in the way

the DIY amp install thread does not have this. at first I thought it was some type of unit for the sunshade but it says pioneer on it??

edit: SAT radio unit? my car has the sat radio option but I don't subscribe to the service. I'm assuming it won't do any harm if I disconnected the harnesses and bracket?

 

What is the model or serial number on the unit?

 

I can check but I verified with Sewell that it is a satellite unit
