I'm coming up on a year of ownership and today I found out I can lock the trunk from the glovebox. At first I thought something was wrong, blown fuse or bad latch. Drove up to the nearest Lexus and the consultant just laughed, popped open the glovebox, hit the button and asked me to try again. I never knew that was even in there and must of hit it by accident. Thought I'd share for new owners or those like me that perhaps don't/didn't know.
