Thumbs up Air Intake?!

Hey everyone, I'm still new to Club Lexus, and was wondering what your guys takes are on air intakes? I already checked the FAQs section but it wasnt much help. Is it worth getting a Air Intake for my 2007 Lexus GS 350 AWD? Also is K & N a good company? And I cant find any DIY thread on intakes, is it that hard to install? Thanks! any help would be appreciated

Sounds nice when you punch it too. I have the K&N typhoon kit and sounds great, easy as pie to install and I know "NOTHING" about cars.

Worth the $187 in my opinion.

Some of us have F Sport and some have K&N or others. Probably gives you a little increase in HP (few %). Pretty easy to install.

I added a K&N stock filter along with the JoeZ pipe and wouldn't say I gained anything. Black anodized pipe looks nice.

3.5L pushing 303hp means it's not easy to get a ton more hp naturally aspirated..

Default Love My Filter!

I have a K&N Cold Air intake that I installed myself and I love it. I love the sound (deep growl) and I've noticed a difference in my acceleration from a standing start. I'd say go for it!
