the headliner needs to be removed in order to properly wrap the shark fin, as the vinyl will shrink under heat and you will see seams.

after a while it starts to crack do to UV damage. if you stay on top of it, you'll be ok. i ordered Meguiars #39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner along with Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax from Auto Geek (forum vendor) to help keep the vinyl looking good.

[QUOTE=bigblack06;7062383]Ok finally got it done and I know everyone has been asking for pics of what a vinyl black roof looks on a silver GS well here you go! Enjoy (Its kinda dirty since it rained when he finished)

I'm still deciding whether to do the vinyl or paint. What material is yours? The shop I go to uses 3M Di-Noc cabon fibre or matte black and said it is reversible, but when I looked up this material, the manufacturer states "Note: 3M DI-NOC installations should be considered permanent". Moreover, the life span states only 4 years outdoor and 12 years indoor. I tried to search if anyone have had experience in removing their vinyl, but couldn't find any.

It was a 3M product and the guy said its easy to remove he said I can do it but I'll just go to him, he said all he needs to do is heat it up in order to get it off.

I actually did not buy the vinyl, the guy I went to was the one who purchased it, I'm guessing 145" inches the company who installed it was Taigi. There is a company that sell's the same product aerotect as I was searching with them before. I'd take a look at them, best bet measure the roof.
