Default AFS=Jitter Headlamps Over Bumps

When I first drove the car out of the lot , I notice my light would bounce up and down over bumps. My first thought was oh *****, I have a lose headlamps. The first thing I did when I got home is google the problem and it seems to be normal on the GS because of the AFS.
However, even with the AFS turned off, the bounce is still there. What gives? The RX also have AFS and the headlamps is solid.

that's just how it is on the gs. the bounce is due to the mounting i think, not afs in action

Do you have the AFS feature? From what I understand, GS with AFS all do this because of the mounting mechanic used for AFS.

Yes i do, that happend to me when i hit a huge bump and the projector was loose. I had it replaced under warranty. A good way to check is, come up to the headlight n hammer fist bang it on top of the headlight see if it moves around, if it does you need to replace the headlight.

Wat, Mine was just replaced last year and they def. bounce over bumps. I've never heard them not bouncing, you mean the light out bouncing slightly right.

HAMMER FIST, as make a fist as a hammer and bang it on the headlight come on guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i seen 3gs driving behind me and when they hit bumps their lights didn't shake, nor do mine. If you have warranty have it replaced if you don't learn to live with it.

Well this thread seem to suggest that it's normal.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ver-bumps.html

It's not a hard shake or anything, just the cut off beam is moving up and down. I wish more people would input in this thread.....If there's a mechanical reason for this and is normal then okay. If this is not, then Lexus should fix it.
