2000 GS300 176000 miles. No issues. Just got car, so don't know history-other than owner had car for 8 years and done his own maintenance. Fluid is not burned and smells good. Going do do drain and fills, as this has worked on all of my older Toys.

My 2006 GS430 has 38K miles and the tranny is very smooth. I believe the GS430 has more robust gearing then the other GS's...

experiencing slippage accelerating when slowing down to a stop. the engine revs high and sounds loud but the car delays in response.

08 GS460 190k no issues, had fluid flushed for first time at 180k even though people say not to, shifts even smoother since then. Pretty confident this powertrain will easily go 300k

Mine has 124 and some change and having some hard downshift issues. It only happens when the motor is cold and its cold outside. The strange thing is once the motor warms up the shifting issue goes away, anyone had similar issues?

Yes me sometimes I feel like I'm driving a Land Cruiser and not a Lexus but I don't think it's an issue, it's just how the car drives when it's really cold. I mean -30 C kinda cold. Once it's all warmed up, I'm back to driving a Lexus.

2007 Lexus Gs350 AWD 192k miles, shifts like new (knock on wood). Transmission fluid flushed along with internal filter replaced at 96k miles at local Lexus dealer. Planning on doing a drain and fill very soon along with the filter again. Burns a ton of engine oil though 😵.

Might wanna check your spark plugs, when i changed mines out at around 100k they had oil on them. I asked a mechanic what they thought and they suggested that my spark plug covers or valve covers might be leaking. They said if im keeping it, i should change it, if not then just keep driving and sell it later. Some say it should be fine since its not that bad of a leak causing misfire... i still haven't got time to open and check on the status of them yet.

Spark Plugs were done at Lexus at 96k miles and 188k miles. I suspect the oil burning is due to carbon buildup on the Oil Drain Piston Rings.

2007 GS350 AWD 145.5K miles (236KM) with no issues. I do change my tranny fluid according to the schedule (applicable to Canadian GS only). The change is drain and fill in 3 intervals.
