Default 3GS and 2GS different offsets?

Do the 2GS and 3GS have the same offset in wheels? reason being i'm trying to purchase an aggressive setup that came off a 2GS and i want to ensure it fits on a 3GS. Also do they have the same 5x114 pitch?

20x9.5 +10 | 20x11.5 +28 are the size and offset of the wheels.

bolt pattern and hub size the same

i think the 3gs takes a bit more aggressive offsets by comparison. the rear is about the same, the front i personally think the 3gs takes more

i think u are gonna have some problems getting those offsets to fit without some serious fender work.

I believe the offset on a 3gs is between +34 and +45. Those that you are looking at, are much more aggressive. Should have a very large lip. As rominl said, you will need some fender work done to accommadate those.

if you say so bro not really true. most people on here are rocking 20x9 in the front with a 29-34 offset and the rear 20x10,5 34-39 which can be ran without stretched tires. Now with stretched in the rear you can fit 25-35 easily with a little roll nothing major.

you will have a little bit of a problem up front with the +10 on a 9.5. i am currently running +15 on a 9.5 up front, and i do rub. you will not be able to go as low, and there will be a little poke. it's doable though. the rear is going to be the issue, especially if you go low. 11.5 is quite wide. i have considerable rubbing issues with a 10.5 +25 if i have any passengers in the car, front or back. however, i do not have a camber kit. if you do not mind eating up tires, you may be able to make this work with a good roll/shave and pull. check out these to help:

my ride height is 27" from ground to top center fender for reference. i am also AWD, so what applies for me may not for you. my best suggestion would be to test fit if you have the ability to do so. GL.

thanks guys. i am also considering a diff set of wheels:

20x10 w/ 0 offset (F) 20x11 w/ 0 offset (R)

tires 225/35/20 front 245/35/20 rear

what do you think? I am planning on running Megan LP coilovers and rolling all 4 fenders to make it fit.

Thanks for the info. I'm ordering 20x9 F & 20x10 R and was wondering the lowest offset I could rock in the rear w/o major issues. This helps.

You will definitely need to pull the fenders which will require your car to seek medical attention at the bodyshop and thats a guarantee I have pretty much pushed the envelope as far as giong as aggressive as possible before needing a fender pull, not to be confused with not having extensive fender work cause I have the fronts have been shaved then excess metal hammered over and bonded then fenders metal finished and resprayed and the rears have been shaved and grinded flat, and smooth then repainted and rubberized undercoating applied. I also ride slammed and on stretched tires and have a 20x9.5 +17 and 20x10.5 +26 and maybe able to go 1 mm more aggressive in the rear and tires will still rub fender now while turning if not careful just my 2 cents hope this helps. Besides I moved on to trucks

That's based on members who don't want to have to do any fender work. Most set ups above the 20x8.5 and 20x10 require some work.

Actually most are running the 9 front and 10.5 rear and it all depends on offset whether or not fender mods are required along with ride height and tire size as well as camber can all factor into what fender mods may be needed. generally stating that anything over a 8.5 and 10 will require fender work is false!
