Default GS Lowers Itself?

My cousin noticed my car sits lower when driving on the highway vs when its parked. He thinks the car may lower itself when riding on the highway. Is this possible/

I know there are cars out there with factory suspsension that does this...Range Rover and the Navigator

I dont think so. GS doesnt have air suspension.
My 98 Lincoln LSC does go down half an inch at 55 mph or 60. That one has air on all four corners.

Perhaps down force is just playing visual tricks.

what car do you have! do you have AVS cause if so I always thought the same thing but I'm pretty sure mine doesnt lower, unless someone tells me otherwise. But if you have a regular suspension than I don't think that it lowers cause there is nothing to move it lower.

I wonder if the LS lowers itself then....

Ls with air ride does lower itself at highway speeds. Our cars do not since it doesn't have an air ride option. I'm guessing it is just a eye trick being played.

I can see how he can think that. My thought is that cars in general appear to sit lower while rolling. Not sure why but they just do.

All cars look lower at highway speeds. Forward motion down force compresses the springs...

Moving air over the car is lowering the vehicle.
