It could be a multitude of reasons. Everyone's driving habits and road conditions also play a part on the wear and tear of the car. Although the same symptom is felt by different members, it's hard to diagnose on a forum. It's better to trouble shoot from the cheaper, less labor intensive parts of the car before assuming the transmission unit is the actual culprit. A member here replaced his transmission, but still ended up with the same issue (unless the unit he replaced it with was faulty). The symptom I'm getting comes and goes, and sometimes I feel when coasting without my foot on the pedal or even when applying the brakes. Again -- it could be anything, but without a proper evaluation of the car by someone experienced on cars of this nature and caliber, then we're all kicking rocks here lol

Has anyone had any luck with this? I have the exact same shudder. 1500 RPM, usually when going up hill, only present in one gear, light acceleration.

Check out thread in this forum 2007 gs 350 awd stutter around 20mph . I had the same problem in my 2007 GS350 AWD, 100K miles and after transmission fluid change, no longer.

Hey guys I'm bringing up an old thread... I've posted about this before and it barely got any traction. I have the same problem as one of the other members light throttle 3rd and 4th gear around 1500 rpm. It goes away with heavier throttle but tis so unsafe.

I think if it's not the tranny then maybe it's the torque converter? Because the feeling is up front.
i also had a front diff leak and got it resealed with around 8 hours of labor on it for about 900... I hasn't gotten rid of the problem either... I'm not sure if it's fixed either cause I just checked it and it's damp in a different area.... Ganna have a word with the shop.

Has anyone in the 4GS have any of the same problems?

Default 2007 Lexus gs350 AWD 1500 rpm shutter at low speeds

Has anyone found out a solution for this issue yet? I had an 06 that was doing this. Sold it brought an 07 and now I'm getting the same issue again
