Trunk won't open!
 

I have a '08 gs350 and the trunk will only open with the key from the key pad, the valet button in the glove box is not engaged... Anybody have another solution? How much will it cost at the dealership to replace it? Help please!

im not sure if we have the same problem, but i could not open my trunk on my is250 at all. i brought it into one dealer, and they told me i needed to replace the latch (costly). i went to another dealer for a second opinion, and they resolved my issue. my problem was an electronic issue, they had to reset/configure some settings using the scanner.

Sorry to hear that, best option is to send it off to lexus and have them take care of it :(

from the sounds of it, I'd advise the service rep of sleekbrian's post, usually they jump straight to the more costly option, telling them about a reset might help u save a bit more money.
