Default DIY Thottle body cleaning

Didn't find a DIY so I decided to write one up. It's pretty simple but thought someone might appreciate it, dealer charges $150 to do this. This cost me $6 and about 45 minutes. I took pictures after I cleaned it but there was some carbon build up.

My first write up in all the forums I belong to so enjoy!

1. Remove plastic panels
2. Remove intake box. (disregard the top circled, you don't have to remove that, its part of the intake tube.)

3. Remove intake tube.

4. You can either remove the throttle body or clean it with the it on the car. Either way I'm sure you can do a thorough job. I took it off by removing it, disconnect the two tubes and remove the 4 screws. Cleaned it with some throttle body cleaner.

no lights. There shouldn't be any lights all you are doing is cleaning the carbon build up. Just drove it today. Noticeably more responsive

Hi all...I need to have this done on my first gen LS400. I was quoted $50 to clean it. Is that reasonable (indie mechanic)??
