Unfortunately I hit some debris (truck tire rubber) on the highway and my right front part assist sensor was completely knocked out of the housing.
Has anyone have any experience replacing this sensor?

Everything is where it should be, just little cap that covers hole came off.

I am scared of taking it dealer and informed they have to take the whole front bumper out~~
Any recommendations on where to buy this sensor is appreciative as well. Thanks.

Had same exact thing happen to me, all I did was loosen up the fender liner and wen't in there with my hand. Got the sensor and clipped it back into the housing. Works fine.

I had the same thing happen to me. But if i take this to Lexus will it be covered under warranty? If i said that it just fell off?

Had similar incident happened to me, a truck had some cardboard boxes flew out hit my passenger front and knock out the sensor, not sure if it got pushed in or flew out altogether. Now it is only a hole (opening). How did you management to find your sensor? I like to do the same and see if I am lucky enough to find it.

They are listed regularly on eBay and are relatively inexpensive.

Ebay and look for an already colored to match your car. Also make sure to buy oem as there are many knockoff brands, I do not know how well they are but a used oem and a new are not to far apart.
