Default Just bought a 06 gs300..Need help deciding what tint percentage to go with?

I just recently sold my 07 s2k, and bought a Pearl White 06 Gs300 AWD. Car came with no window tint(extremely hot here in FL) so now I'm stuck in the middle of deciding what percentage tint to get. Im thinking 5% rear windows, and 18% front.

Will i have any issue with that? any affect with the sensors?

any input will help

Go with 5 in the back and 15 in the front and 30 on the windshield.

Try 15% all around and 5% for windshield if you are brave.

That would make more sense. Although i've never heard the rear window called a windshield before.

Definition of a windshield:
A window at the front of the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle

I was reading a few other threads about a certain tint that will affect the sensors. i think it was the metallic ones, but just making sure.

do you mean 30 rear window? wouldnt that look unusual? i was thinking 5% rear window, and back windshield, and 15% front.

Ok, is that bc of the sensors?

Nope I meant 30% on the windshield, 15% on the front windows and 5% on the rest. 30% on the windshield won't be too dark, plus it helps with heat.

20% all around and 50% on the windsheild FTW!!!! 20% is dark enough where people can t see in but you can still see out and anything darker than 50% on the windsheild is going to be a ***** to see out of at night. with 20% i still have to roll down the windows while reversing to see into my side view mirrors at night as well!

im sorry but im a little confuse lol..i was just caught up with some of the guys referring windshield as the rear window. so you're saying 30% as the front strip of the windshield right?
