Default My car is paid off!!

Paid off my 06 Lexus GS300 this month....woo hoo.....!! 91K miles and no problems whatsoever with my car.......gonna keep it and give it to my son as his first car (he is 13) - car still looks great too!

Now what to get for a fun car??

67 Mustang Convertible?
02 Porsche 911 turbo?
65 Lincoln Continental (with suicide doors)?

what? LOL

Cool, ill take the monthly payments of what ever you were paying to lexus just in case you miss it . I would suggest a 911 from the list above.

I would say a 911, but please don't buy a 996.

Don't shot the messenger but that is the ugliest of all the 911's.

Buy a 993, the prettiest one, and they are worth more then the newer 996. Or a classic one.

Before my GS I drove a 997 targa, a Cayenne GTS and a Caymna S, all great car. 996 guys are always bummed when they see a newer or older one because... They know...

Don't mean to insult, just constructive critisism. My choice between the 3 would be the Mustang, but if I ever bought another Porsche it would def be a 993.

I agree!

I had a 68 convertable back in day, but I'd much rather have the fastback. Way more sporty. Plus I didnt have a good experience with the numerous soft tops that were on it.

I wish I was your son. GS300 for the first car is like promoting him to be a pimp.

The OP's preference is an 02 911 Turbo; aka: 996 Turbo.

The 993 is THE purest of the PURE.

Congrats on the pay-off. Always a great feeling when it's done.

I'd get the Conti with suicide doors. Done up right those cars are baaaad!
