my friend found out the problem to rusty rotors

Rusty Rotors ... wasn't he a character in Cars?

It's just surface rust ... I think they all look like that.

it happens to every car, its just surface rust which comes right off.

That part of the rotor on the OE ones is painted to keep it from looking too *** but it's nothing to worry about.

yep what u could do is remove those rotors and just paint the hub area.

Looks like he wen't with aftermarket rotors, which don't have the hub part painted. Take it off, sand it down, get some engine paint that resist up to 1000 F heat and spray some on it. I did it with my front cross drilled and slotted rotors. They look fresh .

Rotors rust... Period. If it bothers you, then I agree with everybody else and paint them. Nothing but aesthetics to worry about.

You would need to put a high temperature epoxy paint on them like caliper paint. I would use a wire brush and steel wool.

Might as well do the calipers too while you are at it!

I used flat black paint, 2 coats, 1 coat of high heat clear coat. For sand paper I used a medium sponge sand paper which can be found in home depot for under $3.
