do you know of anybody that can do the nav hack on my 06 gs300 in the nj/ny area ?


I read older post on how to do it but just dont want to tak the chance.

Well i guess that leads to another question......obviously the wire option is cheaper to do....but what are the cons to cutting the wire does that work the exact way the ps kit does what are the differences between them besides cost ?

 

does the cut wire method work with ipod/iphone integration ?

 

i dont think the wire cut allows for unlimited amount of time like the ps kit does.

navi/dvd bypass is not the same as the vaistech kit.

if you do not have ML then i would say its pretty pointless since you have the 06 and can access the override menu for the navi part. Its only nice if you have ML so you can have movies play.

 

i have ml....but i didnt know if it worked with the wire override hack ?

i dont see why not.

 

nav override has very little to do with vaistech products. at the most it enables some audio menus when car is moving. but i can't say i remember enough on the 06 gs (gen4 system) if there is huge benefit

 

I think what he's asking is if he installs the ML, would that work simultaneously with the cut wire Nav Hack.

In which case, I believe it does because they are different wiring.
