Default Seat Heaters/Cooler Upgrade

After many searches about the lack of heat a forced air seat heater system creates isn’t going to work, I’m open to adding a 2nd TED in parallel and a larger capacity blower motor. Any help in this direction would be appreciated
Thanks
Hary

Second? I don't think there is a first. It just blows ambient air. I think they do make a bit of a difference for black seats in the summer, but nothing outstanding.

Heat is just lawsuit friendly resistive seat elements .

I guess it has to be your expectation. I just expect a little bit cooler air on my black seats in the summer, and a little bit more heat in the winter. That's about what I get. If you were thinking you'd feel a 40 mph breeze between your legs, you are going to be disappointed.

Searches for ventilated gs 3rd gen isn’t helpful. I did find a Toyota part # and pulled up a schematic of the seat heater element. According to Toyota its a perimeter element and operates independently of the cooling system meaning I can add a factory style ceramic heater pad instead of the inefficient oem perimeter system. PNW climate demands a substantial heating system. Frankly I would even bypass the cooling setup to get a good quality heating product

Yeah, I believe it is similar to those $30 carbon fiber ebay heated seat inserts you can get. It is also under a ton of cushion, so that reduces its heat. There were also many lawsuits then about people getting burns, so mfgrs turned down the heat. The best heat comes from wiring in the seat - a 40ga wire is woven directly under the leather, not the padding. This heat you feel immediately, it gets very hot, but it breaks after a few years (the wires flex and burn out). Had them in an older Lincoln.

These seem to have very good reviews....
