Default howto: remove passenger window switch

anyone know how to do this?
i read that you just take a butterknife or something flat and then pry up the front of the switch above the door lock button

ive tried that and still cannot get the damn switch out

You shouldn't name your thread in a way that suggests that it actually contains a how to when it doesn't.

To answer your question, I'm not sure... I think the switch assembly is rather large and may require door panel removal.

Use the seach function and look for LED side mirror DIY. It includes how to remove the door panel. Or to make it easier there are 2 screws, one on the door panel where the **** to open the door is. It is hiding behind the plastic piece that needs to be removed, next you need to pry out the LED light that shins on the door pocket and there is a screw hiding there. 2 screws and everything else is just pop out clips. Simple i have done it a lot of times.

you have to remove the door panel to remove the switch, you can not remove the window control pod without at least loosening the door panel.

roll window down, remove the 3 screws on passenger side door 1 is towards the front at the top inside what looks like an a/c vent hole, 2nd is behind the door handle cover, 3rd is down below you have to pull out the led map light on top of the cubby then you can find the screw and remove it.

best answer from here is NOT to remove the entire door panel b/c they're difficult to get back in the window channel, but, just pry all the tabs off, it will give you plenty of room to lie on the ground with a #2 phillips screw driver, and remove the 3 or 4 screws holding the window switch in place, then there's 1 or 2 plugs on it that need to be unplugged.

if you take the door panel fully off, you have to remove the lock/ unlock cables (no biggie) and pop the door panel out of the window channel ...its just easier not to do all that.
