Sorry if I'm going to disappoint you, but if you have gs350... where do you see wood? Steering wheel is the only thing made from wood.... not sure about GS4x0... though

Every part of the GS 350, 430, 450h, 460 and 300 have real wood throughout the car so that includes the side doors the console and the steering wheel, all real wood!

Everyone else has real wood in their Lexus. If you don't you probably are one of these fools who bought a Camry with a Lexus badge on it. I hear some of the dumb guys in the villages fall for that trick.

It's wood overlay....very thin pieces of wood. The steering wheel is solid though. Lexus has a video on their website showing how they make the steering wheels.

You can find on youtube the process of them making all the "wood" pieces. They use the same tree for all pieces.

Never really understand why people think the wood is fake, it wouldn't make sense to purchase a $50,000 car and get fake wood in it. People these days.

Stop spreading misinformation. It is wood. The wood is cut into laminates which are mounted on plastic to enable it to mount the car. And the smooth finish is because it is coated in clearcoat. This is what everyone does.

Nobody drills a plank of wood into the dash. Otherwise you would have visible screws.

according to you, i guess all cars has fake wood, since they are all shiny. Few cars has matte finish wood (LS460 sport package, BMW 7-series), but the shiny wood is a clear coat/laminate.

I have the car as well, wood - no wood concerns me as well #3. if it is actually thin layer of wood, I'm happy, but when you look and hold the console in your hands you'll see that the bottom is nothing but hard plastic... which brings very reasonable question... Does this sounds like insult or misinformation?

For the record every Lexus has offered real wood. The CT now offers a real Bamboo option. It is wood.
