Tim, its the blue wire.
Its a negative wire trigger. right behind the left panels where the mirror controls and stuff is at. Thin Blue wire (darker blue). use a test light.
I tried calling you but you didnt pick up.

It's cool tuan I think your way is different method of hooking it up.
My way works to too. This is how it work now.
1. When I walk up to the car the lights light up slowly
2. When walk away it will dim off slowly
3. At a distance when I unarm my car it will come on slowly
4. When I arm it will dim slowly
5. When I close my door I'll turn off
6. While driving when I hit the on button on the dome light my puddles will come on..no need for a separate switch..
This is how it want it, just like factory ...thanx for the heads up though..

Yea that's how i hooked up mine. So i took the red and went straight to positive constant and then the dome light is negative so i hooked that up to black wire.. to activate the light.
Either way works. You probably tapped into the white wire with red stripe. Make sure you fuse that sucker because if it blows.. you wiill be replace a big blade of fuse.
